One of the powerful features of the DreamWatts portal is access to real-time and historical data collected from a building's energy consuming devices. On a frequent and consistent basis, default every 90 seconds, every node in the DreamWatts network will "report in" with data. This data is specific to the type device, for example a thermostat will report in setpoints, temperatures, etc. whereas a meter will report on KWh, Amps, and Volts. However, every DreamWatts node is a data collector, and stored on the PowerMand data centers is at least a 2-year history for each and every node. Captured below are a few examples of the types of charts available through the DreamWatts portal.
Pictured below is a DreamWatts chart of metered electrical data. Note the real-time depiction of load data (Current), the cumulative chart of energy, and even characteristic data such as power factor.
Pictured below is a DreamWatts chart of basic thermostat data. Note the combination of setpoints, temperatures, and even load data at the bottom. This data can give a building manager significantly advanced information regarding building performance, tenant use and behavior, and even equipment capability.
Pictured below is a DreamWatts chart of generic sensor data, in this case temperature and CO2.
