DreamWatts® Energy Management System

DreamWatts is a web-based, user-friendly system for automating light commercial and residential buildings to better manage their energy use. DreamWatts saves customers money and provides ease and simplicity to their energy management solution.  Using a simple web interface, wireless communication and sophisticated centralized energy control software, DreamWatts optimizes energy usage and building management.

The Opportunity

There are approximately 5 million light commercial (less than ~100,000 square feet) in the United States today. Very few of these buildings have any form of centralized energy management or monitoring systems in place. PowerMand has developed the DreamWatts solution to address the urgent energy conservation needs of this marketplace.

The Solution

The DreamWatts Solution consists of ZigBee(R) radio-enabled devices communicating with an Internet Gateway connected to a light commercial Internet router, communicating with PowerMand's commercially hosted data center.  All communication is bi-directional allowing for seamless and secure data transfer from both ends of the network. Any client device with web access (PC / MAC, laptop, smart-phone etc) can be used to access a DreamWatts account, modify settings, create and maintain custom energy management profiles, examine monitored data and manage alerts. Our approach is standards-based, secure, low-risk, low-cost, easy to install and easy to use.
